Baseball Recap: Clinch County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wheeler County on Tuesday, Clinch County came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Clinch County has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Wheeler County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinch County will welcome Hamilton County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wheeler County, they will square off against Dublin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
