Baseball Recap: Hilbert Comes Up Short

Hilbert lost to Reedsville on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hilbert saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maverick Breckheimer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Hilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Reedsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Hilbert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Kohler on the 15th. As for Reedsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-5 defeat against Brillion on the 15th.
