Georgia Christian's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 17-2 victory. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Georgia Christian got a massive performance out of Carson Hanks, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Hanks has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Hall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

Georgia Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sherwood Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .143.

Georgia Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Coming up, Georgia Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Fullington Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Southwest Georgia Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
