Softball Recap: Dike-New Hartford Comes Up Short

Dike-New Hartford was the 5-2 winner over Osage when they last played one another back in July of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolverines came up short against the Green Devils on Friday, falling 8-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dike-New Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Osage, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-1.

Dike-New Hartford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Osage, they will square off against East Marshall on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Green Devils have won five straight at home, while the Mustangs won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
