Volleyball Recap: Woodland Find Success

Woodland posted their closest win since August 12th on Thursday. They skirted past the Morrow Mustangs 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Woodland who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 18-25, 25-9, 24-26, 15-9.

Woodland's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Morrow, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Coming up, Woodland will face off against Jones County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morrow, they will take on McIntosh at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
