Soccer Recap: Alisal Takes a Loss

Alisal was the 1-0 winner over Pacific Collegiate when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Alisal Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacific Collegiate Pumas on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Stephanie Zarate, who's now up to 18 this season.

Alisal now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Pacific Collegiate, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Alisal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacific Collegiate, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Carmel on the 13th.
