Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Sanger Apaches

The Roosevelt Rough Riders are taking a road trip to square off against the Sanger Apaches at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sanger took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Roosevelt, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Roosevelt beat Torres 52-40.

Meanwhile, Sanger had to suffer through a 81-28 loss at the hands of Bullard. The defeat continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Sanger, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Roosevelt and Sanger were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in November of 2023, but Roosevelt came up empty-handed after a 56-55 defeat. Can Roosevelt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
