Soccer Recap: Discovery Comes Up Short

While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Buford Wolves who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Buford Wolves got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Discovery Titans's four. Daniel Sarmiento Benavides was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Discovery's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Buford, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7.
