Baseball Recap: Covenant Academy Takes a Loss

Covenant Academy lost against Thomas Jefferson Academy on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Covenant Academy Rams fell 7-3 to the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Asa Wood made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Daugherty, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Covenant Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Thomas Jefferson Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Covenant Academy beat Thomas Jefferson Academy by a score of 6-1 later that day.
