Basketball Game Preview: High Tech NC Raptor vs. High Tech Mesa Thunder

The High Tech NC Raptor are taking a road trip to face off against the High Tech Mesa Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. High Tech NC hasn't scored more than 23 points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, High Tech NC turned things around against Ocean View Christian on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots, sneaking past 23-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raptor have posted since February 6, 2025.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask High Tech Mesa). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Bonsall 51-48. The Thunder haven't had any issues with the Legionnaires recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

High Tech NC's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for High Tech Mesa, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

High Tech NC was dealt a bruising 61-33 defeat at the hands of High Tech Mesa in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can the Raptor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
