Football Game Preview: West Bend-Mallard Wolverines vs. Kingsley-Pierson Panthers

The West Bend-Mallard Wolverines are taking a road trip to square off against the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Bend-Mallard has given up an average of 39.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Bend-Mallard is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Riceville on Friday. They were dealt a 52-12 loss at the hands of the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingsley-Pierson). They blew past Newell-Fonda 79-26 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kingsley-Pierson's record now sits at 3-1. As for West Bend-Mallard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

West Bend-Mallard was dealt a bruising 34-0 loss at the hands of Kingsley-Pierson when the teams last played back in September of 2020. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
