Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Warrior this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-3 loss on Friday.

Garrison Barton was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Bo Reid was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Covenant Christian Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Victory Baptist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season.
