Beatrice waltzed into their game on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They never let the Plattsmouth Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Orangemen have won 14 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jada Berke made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

In other batting news, Brooke Gleason was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Haley Loomis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Beatrice's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Plattsmouth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Beatrice didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against Malcolm on the 27th. As for Plattsmouth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-3 defeat against Nebraska City on the 27th.
