Baseball Recap: Willard Comes Up Short

Willard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Columbian Tornadoes. The Crimson Flashes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tornadoes from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Willard's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Columbian, their record is now 7-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Willard will be taking part in a tournament against Oak Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crimson Flashes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Columbian, they will face off against Calvert at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
