Softball Recap: Riverview Gardens Comes Up Short

If Riverview Gardens was riding high fresh off their 12-6 takedown of Hazelwood East last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 18-4 to the McCluer North Stars on Tuesday. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Stars from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Riverview Gardens has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for McCluer North, their record is now 10-3.

Looking ahead, Riverview Gardens will challenge Normandy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McCluer North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
