Gertz-Ressler came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Alliance Ted K. Tajima Wolverines, posting a 47-15 victory.

Gertz-Ressler's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jasmin Garcia led the charge by putting up six points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Garcia has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. Bernadett Olivares was another key player, posting eight points and three steals.
