Soccer Recap: Salem's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After flying high against Columbia two weeks ago, Salem came back down to earth. The Seminoles came up short against Drew Charter on Monday, falling 9-1. Salem were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the four games prior), but Drew Charter's defense proved too tough.

Salem's goal came courtesy of Modesto Yandel Martin Ramos, who's now up to seven this season.

The defeat snapped Salem's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-6 record. As for Drew Charter, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Drew Charter beat Salem by a score of 6-0 on Tuesday.
