Soccer Game Preview: San Leandro vs. Tennyson

The San Leandro Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Tennyson Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

San Leandro is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Castro Valley on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for San Leandro in their meetings with Castro Valley: they've now lost three in a row.

Tennyson played against Kennedy on Saturday and lost via forfeit.

Tennyson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for San Leandro, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
