Soccer Recap: Encinal Comes Up Short

Encinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Dragons are ranked 41st).

Encinal's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bishop O'Dowd, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-2.

Encinal will take on Castro Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will host Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
