It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Schurr can now relate to. They fell just short of the Saugus Centurions by a score of 22-19 on Friday. The Spartans' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Jake Nuttall was his usual excellent self, throwing for 285 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes for Saugus. Ty Hall handled things on the ground, rushing for 109 yards.

Schurr's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Saugus, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Schurr does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saugus, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Calabasas at 7:00 p.m. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Hall and Kayne Miller.
