Football Game Preview: Weskan Coyotes vs. Cheylin Cougars

The Weskan Coyotes will challenge the Cheylin Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Cheylin will be up against a hot Weskan team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Coyotes blew past Western Plains, posting a 56-0 win. The contest marked the Coyotes' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cheylin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northern Valley 64-15. The Cougars have beaten the Huskies the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Huskies has come to flipping the script.

Weskan's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cheylin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
