Soccer Recap: Rim of the World Takes a Loss

Rim of the World was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Summit SkyHawks. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 911th, while the SkyHawks are ranked 427th).

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 4-13-2. As for Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-4-2 record this season.

Rim of the World will take on Arroyo Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Summit, they will face off against Kaiser at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
