It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whitney can now relate to. They fell 64-54 to the Christian Brothers Falcons on Tuesday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Whitney lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Natalia Benavidez, who posted 13 points and eight boards. Maile Takahashi was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 13 points.

Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Christian Brothers, they pushed their record up to 25-6 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Whitney will challenge Salesian College Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th. As for Christian Brothers, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-49 loss against Atwater on the 27th.
