Softball Recap: North Cobb Christian Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home + How To Watch

North Cobb Christian hadn't done well against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 8-0 victory. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 7-1 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kate Edwards, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in October of 2024. Molly Edwards also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coincidentally, North Cobb Christian and Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will both be playing Hillgrove the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
