Baseball Game Preview: Bacon County Raiders vs. Pierce County Bears

The Bacon County Raiders will take on the Pierce County Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bacon County fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Charlton County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Pierce County entered their tilt with Brantley County on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the Herons. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their two-run performance the match before.

Bacon County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pierce County, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Bacon County beat Pierce County 5-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2018. Will Bacon County repeat their success, or does Pierce County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
