Softball Recap: Veterans Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Veterans walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Alexander Cougars a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Warhawks have won 18 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Veterans has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Alexander, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-6.

As of now, neither Veterans nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
