Basketball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Zephyrs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Vikings are ranked 190th).

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Whitehall will square off against Emmaus at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they and Executive Education Academy Charter School will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
