Softball Recap: Lambert Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lambert and Carrollton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lambert had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-3 loss on Monday.

Payton Yi made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Cantarutti, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Lambert's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Carrollton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-5.

As of now, neither Lambert nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
