Soccer Game Preview: Whitney vs. Rocklin

The Whitney Wildcats will head out to face off against the Rocklin Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitney will be strutting in after a victory while Rocklin will be coming in after a loss.

Whitney got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They skirted past Granite Bay 1-0. The Wildcats wouldn't have won without Nina Souto, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Rocklin's offense. They fell just short of Davis Sr. by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Rocklin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2-4. As for Whitney, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-16-1.

Whitney suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Rocklin when the teams last played back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Whitney was down 3-0.
