Softball Recap: Cedar Shoals Falls to Clarke Central in First Game of Season

Cedar Shoals had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 11-3 to the Clarke Central Gladiators. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Cedar Shoals saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jewel Daniels, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Clarke Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Cedar Shoals will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Gainesville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarke Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Central Gwinnett at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
