Softball Recap: Hagerty Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hagerty had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Winter Park Wildcats on Thursday as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The win was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on three straight.

Hagerty got a great performance from Addison Dilger as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Dilger has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alina Gallaher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nikki Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Hagerty's record now sits at 22-4. As for Winter Park, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

As of now, neither Hagerty nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
