San Clemente had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Juan Hills Stallions, sneaking past 54-51. Given the Tritons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Stallions are ranked 100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, San Juan Hills still got an impressive performance from Anna Shreeve, who posted 20 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Shreeve's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Adelyn Boberg was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.

San Clemente's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for San Juan Hills, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11.
