Softball Recap: Kiefer Finds Home Field Redemption Against Jones

There's no place like home for Kiefer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jones Longhorns on Saturday, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won three in a row.

Kiefer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rhyan Counts, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Another was Kynlee DiLibero, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Kiefer's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Jones, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Kiefer will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Coweta at 5:30 p.m. As for Jones, they will take on Marlow at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
