Soccer Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Cabrillo Conquistadores. Liberty were not able to make up for their loss to Cabrillo from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cabrillo, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-5-1 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will be home for the holidays to greet Madera at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cabrillo, they will host Nipomo at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Cabrillo their first taste of in-conference action this season.
