Taft dropped down to 8-7 on Tuesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Shafter Generals, falling 61-19. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-8.

Taft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-39 victory against Wasco on the 9th. As for Shafter, they have also already played their next contest, a 65-25 win against McFarland on the 8th.
