Meanwhile, Grant's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Verdugo Hills, falling 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Dons: they've now lost six in a row.

Arleta now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
