            Volleyball Recap: Centura Centurions vs. St. Cecilia Bluehawks        
        
		
        
        
            Centura lost against St. Cecilia back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Centurions fell  3-1 to the Bluehawks. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-8, 18-25,  25-20.

 Several Centurions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Kennedy Davis, who  had 15  kills and three  blocks. Davis has been hot recently, having  posted six or more  kills the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Belle Taukiuvea, who  had 30  assists.
Centura's  loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-6. As for St. Cecilia, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.
 Centura didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  victory against Fullerton on the 11th. As for St. Cecilia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  defeat against Concordia on the 9th.
