Recap: Granite Bay vs. Rodriguez
With a playoff game on the line, the Granite Bay Grizzlies rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the Mustangs onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Granite Bay considering their one-goal performance the match before.
They hit Rodriguez with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
M Newlin,
C Krouse,
E Griffin, and
T Ferguson.
Granite Bay's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-5. As for Rodriguez, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
Granite Bay will take on Woodcreek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodcreek will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. Rodriguez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
