Softball Recap: Madison Central (MadLax) Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Madison Central (MadLax)'s offense. They lost 6-0 to the Baton Rouge HomeSchool Wildcats on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Friday.

Madison Central (MadLax)'s defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Baton Rouge HomeSchool, their record is now 2-0.

Baton Rouge HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 win against Central Baptist on the 26th. Hopefully Madison Central (MadLax) paid attention to the Wildcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
