Football Game Preview: Weed Cougars vs. Trinity Wolves + How To Watch

The Weed Cougars will challenge the Trinity Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Weed comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Weed is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Modoc on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Cougars were outmatched by the Braves and fell 63-14. The Cougars were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Despite the defeat, Weed saw an underclassman step up: freshman Leon Andrews rushed for 160 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries.

Meanwhile, Trinity was beaten by Redding Christian 54-7 last Friday.

Weed's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
