Softball Game Preview: Haralson County Rebels vs. Calvary Christian Knights

The Haralson County Rebels will be taking part in a tournament against the Calvary Christian Knights at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Haralson County 3.2, Calvary Christian 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Haralson County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Carrollton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rebels fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Westfield School typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Calvary Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 7-3. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Haralson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
