Monterey and Wylie are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Plainsmen will get right back to it and host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wylie took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Monterey, who comes in off a win.

Meanwhile, Wylie came up short against Amarillo on Friday, falling 56-34. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Sandies: they've now lost nine in a row.

Monterey's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2. As for Wylie, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
