Basketball Recap: Garnet Valley Falls Short of Upper St. Clair in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Garnet Valley couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upper St. Clair Panthers on Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Jaguars have let down their home crowd.

Despite the loss, Garnet Valley still got an impressive performance from Haylie Adamski, who went 10-for-19 on her way to 25 points and five boards. That's the most points Adamski has posted since back in January. Addison Adamski was another key player, putting up seven points.

Garnet Valley's loss dropped their record down to 29-3. As for Upper St. Clair, they pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Garnet Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Upper St. Clair, they will take on Perkiomen Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Upper St. Clair will need to watch out since Perkiomen Valley has now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
