After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Millbrook, Sanderson was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They snuck past the Green Hope Falcons with a 49-45 victory. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Sanderson pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games. As for Green Hope, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sanderson will square off against Riverside-Durham at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green Hope, they will venture away from home to face off against Athens Drive at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
