Soccer Recap: Skipstone Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Community Christian on Tuesday, Skipstone Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Milledgeville Athletic Club Bears on Thursday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Skipstone Academy were already down 3-0.

Skipstone Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Milledgeville Athletic Club, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skipstone Academy will head out to square off against Lafayette Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Milledgeville Athletic Club, they will challenge Hills Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Milledgeville Athletic Club are facing Hills Academy at the right time seeing as Hills Academy are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
