Soccer Recap: Moreno Valley Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Moreno Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the Perris Panthers onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jessica Menchaca and Samantha Lopez scored both of Moreno Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Moreno Valley's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7. As for Perris, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moreno Valley will host Citrus Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perris, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista del Lago at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
