Basketball Game Preview: Coudersport Falcons vs. Clarion-Limestone Lions

The Coudersport Falcons will square off against the Clarion-Limestone Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Coudersport heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They came up short against DuBois Central Catholic, falling 50-30. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Clarion-Limestone was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 39-35 to Otto-Eldred. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd in Pennsylvania, while the Terrors are ranked 152nd in Pennsylvania).

Clarion-Limestone's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Coudersport, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

Everything came up roses for Coudersport against Clarion-Limestone in their previous meeting back in January of 2019, as the team secured a 69-21 victory. Does Coudersport have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clarion-Limestone turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
