Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Academy Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

After losing to Mid-Prairie the last time they met, Hillcrest Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ravens were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Golden Hawks on Tuesday. Considering Hillcrest Academy have won eight matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hillcrest Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 63 goals over those eight contests. As for Mid-Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14-2.

Looking ahead, Hillcrest Academy will face off against Chariton on Tuesday. Hillcrest Academy will need to watch out since Chariton have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches. Mid-Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
