Chaparral strolled into their game on Monday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Valley Vikings. Chaparral have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Valley, too.

Jonathan Carranza was the driving force of Chaparral's attack as he scored both of Chaparral's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral will challenge rival Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Desert Pines at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
