Soccer Recap: Jackson Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last game, Jackson made sure to put some goals up on the board against Tri-Cities on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Tri-Cities Bulldogs 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Jaguars were the better team in the second half.

Fred Wallace and Alejandro Tomas scored all four of Jackson's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Jackson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tri-Cities, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will host Paideia at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson is facing Paideia at the right time seeing as Paideia is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tri-Cities, they will take on Forest Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.
